The Cabrillo Economic Development Corp. honored its volunteers and supporters Thursday night during a 10-year anniversary celebration.
The nonprofit housing agency, which has developed 648 low- and moderate-income units from Ojai to Piru, presented its Decade of Public Service Award to County Supervisor Susan Lacey.
Cabrillo named Moorpark Councilman Bernardo Perez and agency board member Teresa Cortes as volunteers of the decade.
The housing corporation also recognized staff member Karen Flock, who helped guide development of all the agency’s projects, and Jesse Ornelas, a Santa Paula resident who has managed the construction of housing projects.
