Dogs can sit and stay at the Oasis at Gold Spike in Las Vegas

Reporting from Las Vegas — Traveling with a dog just got a little bit easier in Las Vegas. Oasis at Gold Spike, the downtown Las Vegas boutique hotel, now allows up to two dogs, with a maximum combined weight of 100 pounds, to stay with their owners.
Tack on $50 per stay, per dog, and get a synthetic grass doggie potty and a dog bowl. Guests also receive a discounted rate at the downtown canine social club, The Hydrant Club, where dogs can frolic off their leashes.
Of course, dogs should be fully house trained and kept on a leash when outside of their room, and pets are not permitted in any restaurant, bar or pool areas.
A deluxe “crash pad,” as the hotel call them, features a queen-sized bed, in-room WiFi, “spa-like” showers and skin care and hair care products. While the rooms have no telephones or alarm clocks, the front desk can help out if needed.
This 44-room hotel also offers bike rentals, a library with books on entrepreneurship and inspiration, a pool with daybeds and pool toys, a vinyl library in the lounge and a fitness center. The Gold Spike also has a 24-hour bar and restaurant.
