Las Vegas: After its revamp, ‘Jubilee!’ returns March 17 to Bally’s

“Jubilee!,” Las Vegas’ last showgirl extravaganza, will reopen March 17 after a major face-lift.
The show, staged at Bally’s, has been dark since the end of January as a creative team, led by choreographer and director Frank Gatson Jr., modernizes the show. More than 13-million people have seen “Jubilee!” since it opened in 1981.
“The best of the show’s main elements will be preserved as a nod to the original production,” a news release said. It’s unclear whether some of the more memorable parts of the show — the story of Samson and Delilah and the sinking of the Titanic, for example — will still be part of the production. A publicist declined to elaborate.
Tickets, which cost $62.50 to $122.50, are on sale now. They’re also available by calling (855) 234-7469.
The show will be staged Saturdays through Thursdays.
