Leonard Williams is moving up the NFL draft boards.
The former USC defensive lineman is projected as the No. 2 overall pick, going to the Tennessee Titans, according to ESPN analyst Todd McShay’s latest mock draft.
“I think he’s a complete all-around player,” McShay said during an ESPN broadcast. “[Tennessee] could use a guy like Leonard Williams in the middle.”
McShay projected Williams, 6-foot-5 and 300 pounds, as the top pick in October before he slid to No. 3 in January.
Williams made 80 tackles, including seven sacks, for a Trojans team that finished 9-4.
Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston is projected as the No. 1 pick, going to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Nebraska defensive lineman Randy Gregory is projected No. 3, going to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
