USC football: Offensive line may stick with shuffled alignment

USC’s offensive line, which was was shuffled during the Trojans’ victory over Utah, could have a similar alignment on Friday night at Oregon State.
Interim Coach Ed Orgeron said Monday that senior right tackle Kevin Graf was questionable because of an ankle injury.
After Graf was hurt against Utah, Max Tuerk moved from left guard to right tackle, John Martinez switched from right to left guard, and Aundrey Walker played right guard. Marcus Martin remained at center, and Chad Wheeler at left tackle.
In 2012, Tuerk started the last five games at left tackle. The sophomore has been training to play right tackle in the event of an emergency, Orgeron said.
“He’s what we call our swing guy,” Orgeron said.
Quarterback Cody Kessler was sacked five times against Utah and also “was hit too many times,” Orgeron said.
“We identified those things and changed a couple things in our offense that we think can help us,” Orgeron said.
