Keyshawn Johnson arrested on suspicion of domestic violence

Former USC and NFL star Keyshawn Johnson was arrested early Monday morning in Calabasas on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery, according to TMZ.com.
[Updated at 12:03 p.m.: The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has confirmed Johnson’s arrest for misdemeanor domestic battery. He was arrested at 12:48 a.m. and posted bond at 9:15 a.m.]
Johnson, who is currently an NFL analyst on ESPN, is said to be out after making $20,000 bail.
TMZ says a fight between Johnson and an ex-girlfriend “allegedly got physical” and that he caused “a gash to her hand” by smashing her phone.
According to the website, the alleged argument was over marriage.
Johnson was the Pac-10 player of the year in 1995 and had 168 receptions for 2,796 yards and 16 touchdowns for the Trojans.
The three-time Pro Bowler played for four teams in his 11-year NFL career, winning a Super Bowl with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2002.
