The first real bracket buster of the tournament, 14th-seeded Harvard’s 68-62 victory over third-seeded New Mexico, was not a good moment for the majority of those who had taken part in an office or online pool.
It was a great moment for one person in particular though: Jeremy Lin.
Not long after the victory, Lin sent out the following tweet: “YYYYYEEEEESSSSSSSSS!!! HARVARD winssss!!! hahahahhah i told you.... #bracketbusters.”

Lin, who played for three seasons for Harvard, graduated from the Ivy League school in 2010 with a degree in economics. He now plays for the Houston Rockets.
His best season at Harvard was in 2009-10, when he averaged 16.4 points and 4.5 assists. Harvard went 21-8 that season but never made the NCAA tournament while Lin was there.
