Clippers vs. Charlotte Hornets preview
The Charlotte Hornets have lost five consecutive games, and have just won one of their last eight.
The Clippers will play the Hornets at the tail end of back-to-back games, after losing to the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday, 107-91. In that game, Blake Griffin finished with a season-low 12 points on five-of-17 shooting and only four rebounds.
The Clippers are on a seven-game road trip. Before losing to the Grizzlies, they had beaten Orlando and Miami.
The Hornets remain without starting forward Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, who will miss his seventh straight game with a stress reaction in his right foot. P.J. Hairston is out with a right ankle sprain.
Clippers’ small forward Chris Douglas-Roberts is listed as questionable with a strained right Achilles’ tendon.
