NBA rescinds Dwight Howard’s second technical foul from Sunday’s game

CHICAGO — Not that it matters much, but the NBA rescinded the second technical foul Dwight Howard picked up in the Lakers’ 108-103 loss Sunday against Toronto.
Howard was automatically ejected after that technical foul, which took place after Toronto forward Alan Anderson made contact with him as they ran down the court.
The ejection took place with 1:18 left in the second quarter. Howard had picked up a technical foul earlier in the game for arguing a non-call.
“It’s too late now,” Howard said Monday when informed of the NBA’s decision.
Lakers Coach Mike D’Antoni joked that the NBA should also give the Lakers a do-over for the second half of that game.
Howard had five points and two rebounds when he was ejected.
