Corona Centennial and Long Beach Poly are tied 7-7 early in the second quarter at Mission Viejo High.
Josh Love’s one-yard quarterback sneak tied the game on the first play of the second quarter after James Brooks set up the Poly score with a 72-yard run to the Centennial 3-yard line.
Robert Webber threw an 11-yard touchdown pass to Eric Locklin to give Centennial a 7-0 lead on its first possession.
Perhaps the biggest suprise so far is that Centennial running back Tre Watson has zero yards in five carries.
