There were five holding penalties called on St. John Bosco in the third quarter of Saturday night’s CIF state championship Open Division final.
Coach Jason Negro said Monday he did not see holding after reviewing video, particularly on the 51-yard touchdown run by Sean McGrew that was nullified. He said he intends to send video to CIF officials asking them to review the plays.
St. John Bosco defeated De La Salle, 20-14.
