Football: Once a Crenshaw Cougar, always a Crenshaw Cougar

On letter of intent day, it’s a good time to share a photo (see above) from Robert Helfman, who has been taking photos of Crenshaw High athletes for years.
He captured the photo of lineman Marcus Martin getting a hug from running back De’Anthony Thomas during a 2010 practice. The Cougars won the City Section Division I championship that year.
Martin went on to sign with USC. Thomas signed with Oregon. Now Martin plays for the San Francisco 49ers and Thomas plays for the Kansas City Chiefs.
They’re still buddies. Once a Crenshaw Cougar, always a Crenshaw Cougar.
