Football: Nike combine results

Despite being loaded with lots of outstanding seniors on a 16-0 team this past season, St. John Bosco won’t be lacking in talent this fall based on performances at the Nike Football SPARQ combine this weekend at Cerritos College.

Among Braves players, junior linebacker Jarett Balter had a 4.73 40-yard time. Freshman receiver Anselem Umeh ran 4.70.

Los Osos’ Bryce Youngquist, a sophomore linebacker, had one of the fastest 40 times at 4.56.
