It was made-for-TV drama, so it was a good omen that the Hart-Valencia game on Friday night for the Foothill League championships was on Fox Sports West. What a dramatic game.
Valencia, trailing, 27-0, rallied for a 28-27 victorty behind Jay Jay Wilson, who scored all four Viking touchdowns and made a final interception in the fourth quarter.
It was the sixth consecutive league title for the Vikings under Coach Larry Muir, who always seems to find a way to make life uncomfortable for the Indians.
Quarterback Brady White passed for 347 yards and three touchdown for Hart, but he was intercepted twice in the fourth quarter. Trent Irwin caught nine passes for 181 yards.
