Football: Cathedral vs. Salesian showdown looming in re-leaguing proposals

When the Catholic Athletic Association meets next Thursday to decide re-leaguing, the schools will have to decide among two proposals, with Cathedral and Salesian in the middle.
One proposal has Cathedral in a league with Bishop Amat, Loyola and Gardena Serra for football.
Another proposal has Salesian in with Bishop Amat, Loyola and Gardena Serra for football.
Let the lobbying begin. Neither school wants to be in a league that figures to be in the Pac-5 Division.
