Boys’ basketball: Unbeaten Fairfax wins Snowball Classic in Canada

Unbeaten Fairfax (18-0) is headed home from Canada after winning the championship game of the Snowball Classic with an 80-61 victory over Burnaby South.
Donald Gipson scored 20 points and Lindsey Drew had 10 points, 14 rebounds and 11 assists.
Babacar Thiombane added 14 poins and Isaiah Ajiboye had 13 points.
Balance scoring has been a key for the Lions, who resume Western League play on Wednesday at University, then face Westchester in a showdown game on Jan. 26 at Fairfax.
