Junior guard Aaron Holiday of Campbell Hall is considered an explosive scorer, but he took that label to a different level on Thursday, scoring 26 of his 29 points in the fourth quarter to lead the Vikings to a 75-64 win over Viewpoint in an Alpha League game.
Holiday also had 13 assists and 10 rebounds. He was scoreless at halftime and had scored just three points going into the fourth quarter, with Campbell Hall trailing, 49-40. He helped the Vikings overcome the absence of guard Kahlil Simplis, who was sick.
Windward stayed one game behind Sierra Canyon in the Alpha League with a 66-62 victory over Brentwood.
Sierra Canyon defeated Paraclete, 62-52. Jamani Spencer had 21 points, including five three-pointers. Deveral Ramsey added 16 points.
In the Prep League, Robert Cartwright scored 18 points in Flintridge Prep’s 75-39 win over Rio Hondo.
