Let’s be blunt: Jordan Mathews is the player who got away from UCLA and USC.
The former Santa Monica High standout is a freshman at California, and he scored 32 points on Thursday night to help California defeat Oregon, 96-83.
Another Southern California product, Justin Cobbs from Bishop Montgomery, had 20 points for Cal.
