Matt Kemp starting in left field for Dodgers

On the bench for the last five days, Matt Kemp will return to the Dodgers’ lineup Wednesday against the Cincinnati Reds.

Kemp will start in left field, a position he last played as a rookie in 2006.

“I think I’m still a pretty good athlete,” Kemp said. “I think I’ll be OK.”

Kemp won Gold Gloves as a center fielder in 2009 and 2011.

He worked out in left field before games on Monday and Tuesday.

“A little different,” Kemp said.
