Briefs: Girls’ hoops tryouts this Sunday

HB Waves girls’ basketball will hold two tryout session for its upcoming season.

The first tryout is Sunday, the second is Sept. 27, and both tryouts are open to seventh- and eighth-grade girls from will run from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Huntington Beach High gymnasium (1905 Main Street).

Ohana Volleyball Clinic

Ohana Athletic Club will run its final two girls’ Volleyball Clinic Series starting Saturday at Los Caballeros Racquet and Sports Club. The final clinic is Sept. 26. The cost per clinic is $5.
