The South Laguna Community Garden Park welcomed more than 250 guests to its sixth annual Harvest Festival Potluck.
The event Oct. 23 included face-painting, pumpkin-decorating, seasonal games and treats for attendees.
“This community-based event not only increases awareness of our Garden Park, but also brings Laguna Beach residents and families together for good neighborly fun,” Chris Tebbutt, a Realtor at Berkshire Hathaway and the event’s co-sponsor, said in a statement.
Members of the Laguna Beach Police Department handed out safety wristbands and gave children a chance to sit in police cars. City Council candidates were also in attendance.
The Harvest Festival featured live performances from musicians, including 14-year-old singer and songwriter Molly Bergman, daughter of comedian Rita Rudner, who was also in attendance.
