Man suspected of attempted murder after stabbing in Fountain Valley

A man was arrested Saturday night in Fountain Valley on suspicion of stabbing someone in the back during an argument, authorities said.

Fountain Valley police officers responded at 10:08 p.m. to the 15000 block of Silvertip Court after receiving a report of a domestic dispute.

Police said a man and another person had been arguing, and the man picked up an ice-pick-type weapon and stabbed the other person twice in the back.
