Sage grabs win

Robbie Rosoff threw three touchdown passes to lead Sage Hill School’s football team past host Escondido Charter Friday night.
Rosoff completed 12 of his 20 pass attempts and had no interceptions for the Lightning (2-2), which led, 14-0, at halftime and held off Escondido Charter in the second half.
Vince Whetmore proved to be Rosoff’s go-to guy. Whetmore had seven catches for 124 yards and two touchdowns. Will Burns had four catches for 48 yards and one touchdown.
Burns led the defense with seven tackles.
Beau Roth led Sage Hill’s ground game, as the running back finished with 96 yards on 24 carries.
Escondido Charter dropped to 1-2.
