Sailors come up short against Oilers

HUNTINGTON BEACH — Brian Team had three goals, one assist, four groundballs and two takeaways for the Sailors in the Sunset League match Friday.

Garrett Farthing, Chris Buchanan (one assist) and Ritter Hagadorn also scored, while Brandon Rausch also had an assist. Nathan Frank led defensively with four takeaways, two groundballs and one knockdown, while Christian Ruelas made 15 saves.

Newport Harbor (3-10, 1-2 in league) plays host to Los Alamitos on Wednesday.
