Surf Forecast

TODAY
We should see continued northwesterly wind swell, but the northwesterly ground swell should fade. No southern hemisphere is due around this time, so south-facing breaks are looking weaker. All breaks are looking at waist-high sets, though smaller around south-facing spots.
FRIDAY
Surf looks smaller, knee- to waist-high most everywhere.
SATURDAY
Saturday looks weak for south-facing breaks. West-facing breaks can expect infrequent northwest waves in the waist-high-plus zone, but for the most part, not much swell is expected anywhere in Southern California.
SUNDAY
We should see the first signs of the Tasman Sea swell. Infrequent waves in the waist-high-plus zone are expected with 18-second periods.
