Ocean View loses to Santa Ana 51-6, remains winless in Golden West League

Ocean View High running back Noah De Loera rushed 14 times for 58 yards in the Seahawks’ 51-6 loss at home to defending Golden West League football champion Santa Ana on Friday.

Santa Ana (6-1, 2-0 in league), ranked No. 5 in the CIF Southern Section Division 12 poll, took a 27-0 lead at halftime.

Dezmond Doxy helped the Seahawks (4-3, 0-2) avoid their first shutout in two years. He had a rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter.

Ocean View, No. 4 in Division 13, plays at Westminster (5-2, 1-1) on Oct. 20.
