CdM girls’ volleyball clinches outright league title

The Corona del Mar High girls’ volleyball team has put the Pacific Coast League race to bed.
The Sea Kings clinched their 12th straight outright league title with a 25-13, 25-12, 25-6 sweep of Irvine on the road Thursday.
Nikki Senske had six kills, and Haley Petrucci and Libby Gessford each had three kills for the Sea Kings (16-4, 9-0 in league).
CdM, ranked eighth in CIF Southern Section Division 1, will travel to Santa Barbara for the weekend, where it will compete in the Tournament of Champions.
