High School Roundup: Marina girls’ water polo edges Ocean View to finish tournament

Goalkeeper Emma Marsh made 13 saves as the Marina High girls’ water polo team beat Ocean View 3-2 on Saturday in the 17th-place match of the Ocean View tournament.

Lana Kardos had a goal and two assists for Marina (17-14). Rebeka Macias and Maddy Ruiz also scored.

Leyna Tran scored a goal for Ocean View.

San Juan Hills 5, Edison 4 (OT): The Chargers finished eighth in the Ocean View tournament after dropping the seventh-place match Saturday.

University 6, Costa Mesa 3: The Mustangs finished 12th in the Ocean View tournament after falling in Saturday’s match at Sunny Hills High.
