High School Boys’ Soccer Roundup: Pacifica Christian earns first win in school history

Junior Hunter Alexander scored a goal and assisted on another to lead Pacifica Christian Orange County to a 2-0 win at Eldorado Emerson on Friday, giving the first-year high school varsity boys’ soccer program its first win.

Goalkeeper Kyle Barnard recorded the shutout.

The Tritons (1-2) play host to Saddleback Valley Christian at Vanguard University on Monday at 3 p.m.

Tesoro 2, Estancia 1

Sophomore Aaron Neri scored in the second minute of the Eagles’ nonleague match on the road Friday.

Next for Estancia (1-1) is a home contest with Huntington Beach on Monday at 5 p.m.

Brea Olinda 3, Laguna Beach 0

The host Breakers fell to 0-2 in nonleague play on Friday.

Laguna Beach plays at home against Los Amigos on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
