Northwestern (Iowa) def. Vanguard

SIOUX CITY, Iowa — The Lions had their season ended in their final pool-play match at the NAIA Tournament, falling, 25-18, 25-19, 25-27, 25-16, on Thursday.

The Lions, who were 0-3 in pool play, finish 22-9. Northwestern improves to 36-3 and is one of two teams to advance out of the four-team pool.

Jessica Chase and Rachael Barker had 13 kills each for Vanguard, while Carla Cantarella had 23 assists.
