High School Baseball: Sage’s Reposa makes All-CIF

Sage Hill School junior Parker Reposa made the All-CIF Southern Section Division 6 baseball team, making him the lone local player to earn All-CIF honors this season.
Reposa led the Lightning to the second round of the CIF Southern Section Division 6 playoffs for the first time in four years. Sage Hill (15-7, 8-4 in league), which placed third in league, beat host Sherman Oaks Buckley, 4-2, in the first round.
Reposa, a pitcher and outfielder, finished 6-2 with a 3.50 earned-run average with 33 strikeouts in 40 innings. He earned first-team All-Academy League accolades.
Reposa hit .439 with one home run, 23 runs batted in, eight doubles and one triple. He finished with a .581 on-base percentage and a .666 slugging percentage.
Reposa scored 30 runs and was 18 for 20 in stolen-base attempts.
Capistrano Valley Christian’s Parker Coss was the CIF Southern Section Division 6 MVP.
