CdM boys’ water polo blanks Irvine 14-0

Senior center Will Klein scored three goals as the CdM boys’ water polo team shut out Irvine 14-0 in a Pacific Coast League game on Thursday.
Mitchell Cooper and Hayden Roletter each scored twice for the Sea Kings (14-6, 6-0 in league).
CdM, ranked No. 10 in CIF Southern Section Division 1 and 2, plays in the Memorial Cup beginning Friday in the Bay Area. The Sea Kings face San Ramon Valley at 12:10 p.m. Friday at Menlo-Atherton High.
