Proceeds from the fifth annual showcase will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Costa Mesa alumnus Mike Molina said.
Molina, an assistant men’s basketball coach at Chapman University, founded the Long Shot Challenge in 2016 in honor of his late friend and Costa Mesa alumnus Jeff Long, who died in 2012 after being diagnosed with testicular cancer. Molina also was diagnosed and has fought testicular cancer.
