Some items reported stolen from a Robinwood Little League storage container have been found, according to a news release from the Huntington Beach Police Department.
A Southern California Edison employee notified the department on Tuesday that he found an all-terrain vehicle, one of the items missing from the storage container, hidden on Edison property at Graham Street and Edinger Avenue — across the street from the Robinwood baseball fields.
The property was reported missing on Sept. 14 from the container west of Marina High School.
After the call from the Edison employee, Huntington Beach police found that locks securing the Edison grounds had been removed and the ATV was hidden in the bushes on the property. During an investigation, representatives from the Robinwood Little League found other possibly stolen items hidden in the bushes near the Edison property.
The nearby area was searched and officers found additional hidden property that was reported stolen from the Little League as well as from an Aug. 31 burglary of the Marina High School concession stand.
According to the release, some, but not all, of the property stolen was returned to the Little League and the Marina High baseball program.
The investigation is ongoing and no suspects have been arrested, according to police.
