Pro bowling in Fountain Valley

The PBA Tour has returned to Fountain Bowl this week for the One A Day Dick Weber Open, which began Tuesday and continues through Sunday.

The Dick Weber Open has become the unofficial “fifth major” on the Lumber Liquidators PBA Tour schedule because it has an open qualifying format and features the “traditional” format used in the PBA’s early years, when Dick Weber was a dominant player.

PBA Hall of Famer Norm Duke is trying for his 34th career title this week, while Hall of Famer Pete Weber will try to win the event named after his father.
