Alliance to host musical evening

The Alliance Francaise of Orange County, the Newport Beach chapter of the international organization that promotes French language and culture, will host a musical evening Jan. 24 at the Huntington Beach Public Library.

The 6:30 p.m. program in the library’s Room C will feature pianist Vern Nelson and singer Tra Nguyen. Nguyen will sing French and American songs.

Galette des rois will be served afterward.
