A boy was stabbed Monday after he got into an argument on a public bus that escalated into a fight on the sidewalk.
A 16-year-old was stabbed while arguing with another juvenile about 5 p.m. Monday, officials said.
The two exited near Harbor Boulevard and Victoria Street and continued to argue, said Sgt. Bryan Glass.
The attacker stabbed the victim in the stomach and ran, Glass said. The boy was treated for non-life-threatening injuries, Glass said.
Police took a juvenile into custody related to the fight Tuesday, officials said. Police declined to identify him.
