Police are looking for a man who stabbed an Irvine resident outside his friend’s house in Costa Mesa early Sunday.
Just before 1 a.m., two men got into an argument outside of homes in the 100 block of Walnut Street. The victim was a 28-year-old man from Irvine, and his attacker was only described as being in his 20s.
The two argued and the unidentified man stabbed the 28-year-old, Costa Mesa police said.
The attacker ran away, and the victim was taken to Western Medical Center in Santa Ana with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
Police said the attacker does not appear to be a threat to the general public.
