Caller reports Halloween hi-jinks
A caller reported a suspicious person with a weapon after seeing a man in a white mask and white hair with a chain saw in the 17200 block of Oak Lane at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
The caller said the man was running around, chasing little kids and scaring them in their neighborhood on Halloween. The caller then reported the chain saw didn’t have a blade.
Vista Bahia Drive: A caller reported a man and woman in front of their house dressed as Mickey Mouse in the 4600 block at 4:01 a.m. Sunday. The caller said their dog was barking at the people, which was unusual.
Sher Lane: A caller reported a 11-year-old smoking marijuana in a garage with a group of kids in the 16100 block at 12:16 p.m. Saturday.
La Costa Lane: A caller reported suspicious circumstances after her power started flickering in the 17800 block at 3:39 a.m. Saturday. The caller said she was concerned because her house was egged the night before, and she thought she saw a flashlight outside her window. The caller said she doesn’t want to call the electric company, because she doesn’t want to pay for the call.
Garfield Avenue: A caller reported a loud party in the 7600 block at 12:00 a.m. Sunday.
Beach Boulevard and Adams Avenue: A caller reported being followed by his ex-girlfriend at 12:25 a.m. Sunday. The caller said the ex was driving a silver BMW and cut him off.
Delaware Street: A caller reported a loud party in the 2400 block at 12:20 a.m. Saturday. The caller said only about four people were at the party, but they were making a lot of noise with drumsticks. The caller said they think the party holder’s parents are out of town.
11th Street: A caller reported a suspicious person hiding in the bushes outside of a Boy Scouts building in the 1000 block at 7:17 p.m. Saturday. The caller said the subject was grabbing his zipper and might have been exposing himself.
Lapworth Circle and National Lane: A caller reported loud music at 12:03 a.m. Sunday.
Kings Canyon Drive: A caller reported suspicious circumstances after finding a male teenager half dressed on their couch in the 9900 block at 5:41 a.m. The caller said the boy wasn’t wearing a shirt and had no idea how he had entered the house. The caller’s wife covered the teen with a blanket.
Nautilus Drive: A caller reported having a house guest who wouldn’t leave in the 9300 block at 10:23 a.m. Saturday. The caller said the 45-year-old guest was locked out of the house and trying to get in. The caller reported the man has an alcohol and drug problem, peed blood and rubbed his feces all over the bathroom. The caller said the man went and hid what he believes is a crack or meth pipe in his car when the guest learned the caller was talking to the authorities.
Atlanta Avenue: A caller reported a liquor violation after seeing teen boys asking customers to buy them liquor in the 8400 block at 5:48 p.m. Saturday.
Santa Tomasa Circle: A caller reported loud music at 9:32 p.m. Sunday.
Brookhurst Street: A caller reported forgery in a restaurant at 10:20 p.m. Sunday.
Ellis Avenue: A caller reported a domestic dispute at 2:31 p.m. Sunday.
La Casita Avenue: A caller reported a loud party at 10:43 p.m. Saturday.
Santa Clara Street: A caller reported loud music at 2:51 a.m. Sunday.
Cardinal Avenue: A caller reported petty theft at 3:31 p.m. Saturday.
Delphinium Avenue: A caller reported a loud party at 10:10 p.m. Sunday.
Lavender Avenue: A caller reported a domestic dispute at 2:56 p.m. Sunday.
San Bruno Street: A caller reported a loud party at 4:07 p.m. Sunday.
Kalama River Avenue: A caller reported a shoplifter in custody at an electronics store at 4:56 p.m. Sunday.
Slater Avenue: A caller reported petty theft at 10:43 p.m. Saturday.
Currant Avenue: A caller reported a loud party at 11:20 p.m. Saturday.
Euclid Street: A caller reported a loud party 12:56 a.m. Sunday.
