A Buena Park man pleaded not guilty Thursday to robbing an escort in a Newport Beach hotel with two accomplices earlier this year.
Alexander Choe Alforque, 22, is charged with first-degree robbery and in Orange County Jail after being arrested Wednesday on suspicion of robbing an escort with two other men, Alan Choe Alforque, 24, of Buena Park, and Han Dol Park, 22, of Torrance.
Police said that on April 14, Park contacted an escort service through Craigslist.com and had one sent to a room at the Radisson Hotel, 4545 MacArthur Blvd. When she got there, police said, Park pulled a gun on her and called his two friends, Alan and Alexander Alforque, to the room.
Together, the men stole the 30-year-old escort’s jewelry and cell phone, worth about $250, said Sgt. Evan Sailor. Alan Alforque and Park were arrested last week.
Police believe there may be more victims.
“These suspects are considered extremely dangerous and need to be taken off of the streets so they cannot victimize anyone else. We can only do that with the help and support of our victims. While doing so, we will keep the victim’s identity confidential,” he added.
If anyone has been a victim or has information related to this case, call the department’s hotline at (800) 550-NBPD.
