Suds and sales at Bark Park

Suds were flying at Costa Mesa Bark Park during the 13th annual Bath’stille Day on Saturday.

Featuring a dog wash and a vendor fair, the event raises money for the upkeep of the Bark Park, 890 Arlington Drive.

The City of Costa Mesa has an agreement with the nonprofit Costa Mesa Bark Park Foundation that it can use the land the park sits on as long as it pays for the upkeep.

Past events have brought in as much as $2,000 for the Bark Park’s maintenance fund.

The Costa Mesa Bark Park is open from dawn to 9 p.m. Wednesday Through Monday.
