Youth Athlete of the Week

Cameron Hook belted a three-run home run, just his second homer of the season, to help Lifestyle Caddy rally in the bottom of the final inning to beat Irell & Manella, 6-5, in Newport Beach Little League action Tuesday.

Lifestyle Caddy trailed 5-1 entering its at-bat in the sixth.

The big hit helped LC advance to Saturday’s championship game of the Majors Division. Hook is slated to start as pitcher.

He doubled and scored a run in his team’s 10-9 win over Irell & Manella in eight innings Saturday. His run scored helped force extra innings as it came in the sixth inning.
