CMALL Dodgers Defeat CMALL Angels 4-0
On a beautiful Saturday morning, April 25, the Dodgers bats were wide awake. The first inning started out with Keith Marshall’s reaching base on a fielder’s choice and was moved over to second by a single from Mickey Beliakoff. Trevor Cohen then singled to right field, driving Marshall in for an RBI. It was a close game until the fifth inning when Raymond Andrade placed his bunt perfectly down the first base line and beat out the throw to first base for a hit. Mikey Ischinger got on base with an infield hit and then up came Keith Marshall who hit a monster three run home run over the left center field fence!. The blast was Keith’s second home run of the season. Evan Larsen pitched superbly for 6 1/3 innings, shutting down the Angels offense. William Leiby, who hit a line drive into right field for a double earlier, came in to close the game. The Dodgers are off to a 2-1 start in the second half of the season.
