Hall of Fame adds three more to its ranks

Two Costa Mesa businesses and one corporation were honored with Hall of Fame Awards from the Costa Mesa Chamber of Commerce and the South Coast Metro Alliance on Thursday.
Alan Greeley, the owner of The Golden Truffle restaurant, frequently appears as a celebrity chef around the community for charity events to benefit organizations such as Susan G. Komen for the Cure and Share our Selves. He won the Community Spirit Award.
Steve Mensinger, a recently appointed planning commissioner and the president of the local Pop Warner football league, won the Individual Achievement Award for expanding the league’s membership and its revenue despite the economic downturn.
The Corporate Leadership Award went to Deloitte for supporting organizations such as the American Heart Association, Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation and Orange County’s United Way and encouraging its employees to volunteer.
Recipients were honored at a luncheon at the Hilton Costa Mesa.
