Sea Kings to compete in its elite tennis tournament

The Corona del Mar High boys’ tennis team will be the host of the CdM All-American Tournament, a two-day event that begins today.
The Sea Kings open the tournament against La Jolla Country Day at CdM at 8 a.m. If CdM wins it will advance to the quarterfinals at noon at Palisades Tennis Club.
The 16-team tournament will be played at various sites, including CdM, Palisades Tennis Club, Balboa Bay Club Racquet Club and Costa Mesa Tennis Center. Two rounds will be played on Friday and two rounds on Saturday.
University, Thousand Oaks, Menlo-Atherton and Gulliver of Miami, Fla. are the top four seeds.
The championship is scheduled for Saturday at 4 p.m. at Palisades Tennis Club.
