HOUSTON — Sophomore Ryan Fisher went four for five and drove in three runs to pace the Anteaters Sunday in the finale of the Houston College Classic at Minute Maid Park.
Senior shortstop Ben Orloff went two for three with two runs batted in for the No. 5-ranked winners (5-2).
Sophomore Crosby Slaught pitched 4 2/3 innings of shutout ball to earn the victory and junior Eric Pettis worked the final four innings to notch his third save.
Four UCLA errors led to five unearned runs for UCI, which plays host to Loyola Marymount in its home opener tonight at 6 at Anteater Ballpark.

RIVERSIDE — Junior guard Bridgette Reyes came off the bench to score 24 points to lead the visiting Lions in the Golden State Athletic Conference contest that completed the regular season.
The No. 2-ranked Lions (26-3, 19-1 in conference) won despite going two for 21 from the field after halftime.
CBU fell to 17-13, 9-11.

RIVERSIDE — The Lions completed their season with the Golden State Athletic Conference road game Monday.
