Costa Mesa needs committee members

The Costa Mesa City Council is looking for community members to serve on several council committees.

The Child Care and Youth Services Committee, which meets monthly and makes recommendations to the City Council on children’s and youth issues, has three vacancies for regular members and two for alternate members.

The Cultural Arts Committee, which promotes the arts in Costa Mesa, organizes a youth gallery in City Hall and maintains a directory of local artists, has four vacancies for regular members.

The Historical Preservation Committee has one regular member vacancy and one alternate member vacancy.

Complete a Committee Interest Form from the city manager’s office, 77 Fair Drive, Costa Mesa, on www.ci.costa-mesa.ca.us, or submit a letter of interest to the council. These materials can be delivered to the manager’s office or mailed to: Costa Mesa City Council, P.O. Box 1200, Costa Mesa. The deadline for submissions is 5 p.m. March 20.
