The SeaCliff Country Club will open its golf course to supporters of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Huntington Valley at 10 a.m. Monday for a special event to support the club’s “Building Dreams” campaign to build the state’s first club on a college campus, at Golden West College.
A $100 contribution gets supporters golf for one, a cart, a boxed lunch, use of the driving range and putting green.
The new club facility will include an eight-classroom child development preschool, a school-age youth facility and a gymnasium, which will serve up to 2,500 Huntington Beach-area youth per year.
To date, $2.1 million of the $6.4 million needed to complete all three parts of the facility has been raised.
