Mark Loper added 12 points for Sage Hill (6-6).

GARDEN GROVE — Sophomore Kayla Marolt scored 16 points, but it wasn’t enough for the Sea Kings in the first round of the Garden Grove Tournament Friday at Garden Grove High.

CdM (11-1) led, 23-22, at halftime, but the Jaguars rallied to knock the previously unbeaten Sea Kings into today’s consolation round at noon against Trabuco Hills.
