Adult instructor given award for contributions

Huntington Beach Adult School instructor Tracy Foreman has been selected as a recipient of the 2008 California Council for Adult Education’s CALCO award in recognition of her outstanding contributions to students and the CCAE.
The award is given annually to a member of the council who is recognized as an outstanding teacher of adult students. Foreman has served as a teacher and helped expand the adult school’s Computer Training Center for almost seven years; she currently serves as the chapter president, and also is active on fundraising and other committees.
“I am always looking for additional classes that will enhance my students’ potential for learning,” Foreman said.
